We need your help.
If you have a card you would like to share with others, please feel free to
either e-mail it to us, or better yet, send it in the mail. We seem to have
better luck with a scan than some of the ones that are e-mailed. However we will
work with whichever way is best for you. We will return the card if you request
that you would like us to do so. Also, give just a brief description of how the
card was created if you are willing to share that information. Many thanks in
advance. We are looking forward to receiving your creations! Please remember, we
handle only Dreamweaver Stencils©, so the cards must use only their stencils.

My good stencil friend, Madeleiene B from Texas, sent
this beautiful Christmas card sample. Wish the scan did
it justice (as with many of the cards we display), but since it doesn't you
will have to "imagine" a bit. Madeleiene puts a lot of thought and effort
into details and her cards are really something to treasure. The inside is
equally as neat with a special message and more stenciling. She used velvet
cardstock, and cut out the opening to mount the already finished white
folded card. For the card itself she used the Regular white embossing paste
(DEP) and stencil LL468 Vertical Ornaments. When paste was dry she stenciled
the ornaments with silver and gold inks. Then she mounted the velvet on the
white card and added a gold bow at the top. Wouldn't you be thrilled to find
this Christmas card in your mailbox, as I was? Thank you, Madeleiene! |

I have made so many special e-mail friends in this business,
and treasure each and everyone. It is always a highlight of my day to
receive a card from one of them and I felt especially honored when this one
arrived from Mary E-J from CA. Mary deals with a lot of physical pain in her
life, but stenciling is one of her joys and she does a great job of it - as
evidenced here. She started out by dry-embossing LJ840 Peacock Background on
glossy black cardstock, then used black embossing paste to paste LL437
Peacock Feather on a white iridescent cardstock, which she first colored
with pastels and sealed with an acrylic gloss spray coat. Its gorgeous, and
once again, the scan does not do it justice. |

A brief look at this card and one can tell that Judy C of NM
has done a lot of stenciling - shading and details are outstanding!. I'm not
even sure how it was all done, but hopefully, I will not mess up the
instructions too much. It appears that she lightly dry-embossed the design,
then stenciled. The dot details on the pot may just be pen dots? - at least
that would work. The rest of the details of the pot have glitter applied
quite heavily, making a great representation of sand-painting. Center design
is outlined in black pen ink. A true work of art. |
